About CTEP

What We Do

Comprehensive EV infrastructure services from planning to maintenance and community engagement

Advancing clean transportation through infrastructure, partnerships, and data

CTEP provides comprehensive support for electric vehicle charging infrastructure across LA County. From initial site assessments to ongoing maintenance and community outreach, we manage every aspect of the EV charging ecosystem to ensure reliable, accessible, and sustainable transportation solutions.

Site Assessments

Strategic installation of EV charging stations across County facilities to support fleet, employees, and public use.

Accelerating Clean Mobility

Driving the transition to zero-emission transportation through innovative programs and partnerships.

Grant Funding Administration

Administer grant funding by identifying, applying for, and managing Federal, State, and local funding opportunities to support EVSE, solar, and battery backup projects on behalf of County departments.

Maintenance & Repairs Coordination

Coordinate maintenance and repairs for EVSE systems, including warranty-covered service, troubleshooting, equipment replacement, and restoration due to vandalism or wear.

Fleet Integration & Payment Tracking

Support fleet integration and payment tracking by assisting departments with adding fleet vehicles to the PowerFlex app and ensuring accurate electricity cost recovery.

EV Workforce Development

Develop the EV workforce by partnering with community colleges and training organizations to prepare individuals for careers in planning, installing, and maintaining EV charging infrastructure.

Community Engagement & Outreach

Engage communities through outreach by hosting events in areas where chargers are deployed to educate residents on EV benefits, demonstrate how to use charging equipment, and provide multilingual resources and information on incentives.

Our Comprehensive Approach

CTEP takes a holistic approach to EV infrastructure development, ensuring that every project is executed with precision, sustainability, and community impact in mind. Our team of experienced project managers, electricians, and outreach specialists work collaboratively to deliver world-class charging solutions.

By leveraging strategic partnerships, securing grant funding, and maintaining strong relationships with County departments and community organizations, we’re building a robust EV charging network that serves fleet operations, County employees, and the public while creating pathways for workforce development and economic opportunity.
