Become an LA County Contractor

Join our network of partners working to install 15,000 electric vehicle charging stations by 2035 and advance LA County’s sustainability goals.

Our Vision

Los Angeles County is committed to installing 5,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, advancing the goals of OurCounty—the County’s sustainability plan adopted in 2019.

To achieve this ambitious target, we are actively seeking qualified vendors to support the planning, installation, and maintenance of EV infrastructure at sites including parks, libraries, office buildings, beach parking lots, and other County-owned facilities.

Master Agreements

To receive EVSE-related project solicitations, vendors must be enrolled in one or both of the following Master Agreements:

Energy Efficiency Project Services Master Agreement (EEPMA)

RFSQ # I104559

EEPMA is used for contracting turn-key solutions including design, construction, and maintenance/operation services across County facilities. This is the primary contracting mechanism for EVSE installation and related infrastructure upgrades.

To qualify for EVSE work, apply under the Demand Reduction Design and Installation category (Exhibit 1, Part 2 of the RFSQ)

Additional eligible categories: Energy Retrofits, Renewable Resource & Distributed Generation, Cogeneration, Commissioning/Retro-Commissioning, Office Control Systems, and Water Conservation

Energy Support Services Master Agreement (ESSMA)

RFSQ #GCS-I10681-C

ESSMA provides on-call consulting and technical support services for energy, environmental, and equity-related County initiatives. It is used for projects such as fleet electrification planning, grant writing and administration, program management, and policy support.
